SUMMARY:Beat Brain Cancer Fundraiser / Tailgate
DESCRIPTION:Beat Brain Cancer Inc. is hosting a Buffalo Bills Tailgate/Fundraiser at Iron Smoke in Fairport NY on November 17th\, 2024 from 1:00pm-4:00pmOur recipient is Ryder Maciaszek\, an 8 year old boy from Fairport NY.  He is battling a rare form of cancer in the brain called Clival Chordoma. \n\n\n\nWe created a  5k run & 1 mile walk in memory of Desiree Stockholm\, a nurse practitioner who passed away from a rare form of brain cancer at only 31 years old.  Covid-19 caused the event to go virtual\, in which we still raised $17\,000 that was split between our two recipients in 2020.  \n\n\n\nAs a nurse practitioner\, Desiree lived her life to help others. She would have loved to give back and help others in her same situation. Our family is helping her do just that! Please help us honor this beautiful woman and raise money for local families in need. Brain cancer is a horrible disease and treatment is incredibly costly. By raising this money\, we can help off-set the cost and help alleviate just a small amount of stress on the person and their family. \n\n\n\nYou can send a donation to Beat Brain Cancer Inc\, 31 Captiva Crossing\, Fairport NY 14450.
